OOC Rules
1. One account per person. No exceptions. 2. You may have a total of three characters per account. All characters must be as active as each other. 3. You have to wait to be accepted before you can start role playing. 4. If you join as a student, you must be from 16 to 21 years of age. 5. If you join as an instructor, you must be from 21 to 60 years of age. 6. Please note that we only accept the very best and most professional RPers to be instructors. 7. Always respect your fellow RPers and staff. 8. No hotlinking, or using stolen images or posts. You will be permanently banned without warning for this. 9. You are allowed to bring your own horse into the RPG. However, you are not allowed to compete or enter lessons with this horse, you are only allowed to pleasure ride it, or enter it in showing classes. 10. You must use the horse that you are assigned for your main riding lessons and showing. 11. Students that misbehave in classes risk expulsion from the program. Cross Rail does not tolerate reckless behavior.
RPing Rules
1. Posts must be over five lines long. Longer if possible. 2. Posts must be in Size One font. 3. All posts that contain mature level content must be clearly marked with a warning, and must have their title changed to MATURE CONTENT WITHIN. We do not really encourage these sorts of posts, so please make them the least descriptive as you can. If possible, simply skip the main part of it, and just RP the before and after. 4. Romances, illnesses, and low level depression is allowed, but please, no drugs, or in depth mental illnesses etc. It's a riding school, not a mental hospital. 5. You must play your characters in the third person. Eg. Mary walked into the room as opposed to I walked into the room. 6. Posts must be as detailed as possible. 7. Horses are not your main characters. You may RP how they act while you are riding them and leading them, but only from the rider's point of view. 8. Do not argue about the results of shows. They are all judged fairly and without favoritism. 9. You may not begin as an amazing, Olympic rider, who has won everything and is absolutely perfect. You have to be a good rider, but no one is perfect. 10. Keep posts realistic. If you are riding a green horse, and you're sick, and aren't an ultra-experienced rider, you aren't going to jump a course of five foot fences with a clear round and win everything. Mistakes are rewarded on here. 11. We like different types of characters. Not everyone can be perky and happy, but not everyone can be snobbish, or depressed, or mean. 12. Try to keep the male/female ratings the same amount. If you see that there are 20 girls and no boys, make your next character a boy. Simple as that. 13. Try your best. 14. Try to include everyone in posts, not just your friends all the time. 15. No double posting.
There aren't that many rules for now, but abuse them, and I'll have to be more strict. Rule breakers will be punished.
